HS Volleyball Playoffs: The Woodlands Makes it to State Championship

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands Highlanders are heading to state for the first time in 5 years. They will face Dripping Springs in an attempt to make it to the final 2.

The Woodlands had a huge run in the district season as they knocked out many opponents in the area. Their only loss comes from Grand Oaks who shared the district championship with The Woodlands.

Lead by long time coach Terri Wade, The Woodlands will travel up to Dallas and play in the Curtis Culwell Center along with the other finalist around the state. 6A action starts Friday at 5 pm and will continue on Saturday if they defeat Dripping Springs.

Woodlands Online will be there live on Saturday if The Woodlands makes it past the semifinals.
