THE WOODLANDS, TX – This past week we had temps breaking 80 for the high, and it looks like next week we might see more of the same, but for this weekend at least it’ll pretend to be near-winter.

It’ll be a grey weekend and just a smidgen cooler

The clouds will dominate the sky for the rest of the day and most of tomorrow. With the chances of more misting and sprinkling on and off for the rest of the day, we’re still a couple of hours away from hitting our high of 74 today, and it’ll hover around that point for most of Friday. The winds are already dropping, but we might have a spike in the chances of showers later this evening. The low will barely make it into the 60s as the pressure continues to climb. Why not keep the fun indoors at The Glade Arts Foundation for a night of ‘naughty and nice’ dueling pianos?

Saturday will see a mainly cloudy day again with a morning chance of showers. The high will only get up to about 70, and thankfully the low will hit the 50s so we can get back to thinking it’s the holiday season. To celebrate, think about hitting Texas Academy of Dance Arts’ presentation of The Nutcracker and its holiday market.

For Sunday, the skies will remain grey but the changes of rain will go way down. In the early afternoon, as we hit our high of 71, the pressure will suddenly begin a steep drop, and with it the temperature, dropping about 10 degrees in just a couple of hours to settle for a low of 60. It might be fun to head to Conroe’s Historic Crighton Theatre to catch the matinee of Monty Python’s Spamalot: The Musical.

Right now, it’s looking as if the upcoming week will be outright summer-like warm and muggy, so enjoy the relative coolness while you can…
