Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Supports 2nd Annual Shop with a Cop Event

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- MCTXSheriff’s Deputies in partnership with Sunshine Thru the Rain (non-profit), Walmart, Faith United Methodist Church, and Chick-Fil-A hosted the 2nd annual Shop with a Cop event in South Montgomery County. The Shop with a Cop event gathered twenty kids from the ages of four to fourteen and paired them with MCTXSheriff Deputies to shop for Christmas presents. Each child was provided a $200 gift card to personalize their gifts.

The Sunshine Thru the Rain organization puts together events for children of all ages who have either lost one or both of their parents and provides a safe environment for them to express and share their experiences and make new memories.

We are thankful for all our community partners and for those that donated their time and money to host such a wonderful event and hope for many years of success.
