Tuesday - Friday, December 20 - 23
Unfortunately, not everyone gets the entire week off work during the days leading up to Christmas, and for many parents it’s doubly obnoxious when their kids are out of school and they’re in the office. Fortunately, Cordovan Art School has some Winter Break Art Camp classes available to ease the burden (and even let parents have some spare time to confab with Santa for last-minute gift purchases). Ages 5-12 years. Extended care is available 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required, and they ask you to please send campers with lunch and snacks. They also offer morning and afternoon sessions only from 9:00 a.m. - 12.p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a delicious pre-show dinner, and opening act KP3 Kelly Peters Trio opens at 7:30 with a Full Band Christmas Show, prepping the crowd for an 8:30 concert.

Come out and celebrate the holidays at the Woodlands parkrun at Spindle Tree Jogging Trail. Walk or run off the seasonal indulgences. Christmas costumes and accessories welcome! The Woodlands parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k run/jog/walk that takes place every Saturday morning, even Christmas Eve. There are 55 parkruns in the US and over 2,000 around the world that welcome runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes. The Woodlands parkrun has been operating since January 2022. We welcome new volunteers and have a social coffee afterward.

In honesty, one of the best events this weekend that you could do is to spend some time checking out our official Woodlands Online Christmas Guide. Whether you’re looking for church and worship services, or wondering which restaurants will be open and during what hours, or last second gift ideas, our Guide will point you in the right direction as sure as a guiding star. Wherever you go or whatever you do, be sure to tell the people involved that you found them on the Woodlands Online Christmas Guide.
