SHENANDOAH, TX – Here is a list of significant Activity and Calls for Service for December 18-24, 2022.

Arrests

• Public Intoxication – 19000 block of IH-45 – Suspect was called in as a welfare check at a business. Suspect was arrested for Public Intoxication.
• Criminal Trespass – 19200 block of IH-45 – Suspect arrested for Criminal Trespass from a retail store.
• Theft / Poss Marijuana / Felony Theft – 19000 block IH-45 – Theft in progress at a business. Suspects fled in a vehicle and were stopped a short distance away. Four subjects were arrested in total.
• Driving While Intoxicated – 19000 block of IH-45 – Officer observed a vehicle driving on a rim with no tire. Suspect was found to be intoxicated and arrested.
Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle / Evading – IH-45 N/B – A patrol officer located a reported stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. The suspect vehicle fled. A long pursuit was initiated and ended in Walker County where the suspect was taken into custody and the vehicle was recovered.
• Theft – 19100 block IH-45 – Suspect was arrested for theft from a retail store.
• Warrant Arrest– 17900 block IH-45 – Suspect was stopped on traffic violation and had valid warrants out for his arrest.
• Theft – 19100 block of IH-45 – A suspect was arrested for Class B theft.
• Driving While Intoxicated – 1900 block IH-45 - A traffic stop and subsequent investigation led to the arrest of a suspect for DWI 2nd.

Property Offenses (without arrests)

• Fraud –Residential– Known suspect used the victim's credit card information to open two credit cards.
• Criminal Mischief – City Park – Unknown suspect damaged the bathroom.
• Fraud – Victim came to the Shenandoah Police Department to report an unknown person had opened a bank account in her name.
• Fraud / Theft – 19100 block of IH-45 – Unknown suspect stole a jacket, that contained a credit card, from a business. The credit card was then used in the same area to purchase items.
• Fraud – Victim came to the Shenandoah Police Department to report unknown suspect had cashed two fraudulent checks on his bank account.
• Fraud – 1500 block Research Forest – Known suspect defrauded victim by altering checks and depositing them in his account.
• Burglary of Business – 8800 block of Research Forest – Unknown suspect forced entry into the business and stole an unknown number of items.

Other (without arrests)

• Death Investigation – 117 Vision Park – A 79-Year-old male passed away while in the hospital due to health issues.
