YMCA of Greater Houston hosts on-site job fairs to hire 1,500 summer staff

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The YMCA of Greater Houston is excited to recruit the YMCA Class of Summer ‘23 with various on-site job fairs at 14 YMCA centers Wednesday, March 1 - Wednesday, April 26. The organization is looking to fill an estimated 1,500 part-time positions this summer across various locations in the Greater Houston area, including the Woodlands area YMCAs.

To ensure a safe, fun summer for all, the YMCA is in search of lifeguards, swim instructors, camp counselors and more. Job fair attendees will be able to interview in-person and start the hiring process on-site. Prospective employees are encouraged to apply online before visiting a hiring fair of their choice. In addition to competitive compensation, all part-time employees benefit from flexible work schedules, complimentary YMCA memberships and ample opportunity to develop as an individual and leader in the community.

The fairs will take place Wednesdays 3 - 6 p.m. March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; April 5, 19, 26 and Fridays 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31; April 21, and 22 at The Woodlands Family YMCA at Shadowbend.
