MCTX Sheriff testifies in support of House Bill 513

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Yesterday, Sheriff Rand Henderson and District Attorney Brett Ligon and members of the Montgomery County Narcotics Enforcement Team were happy to testify before the House of Representatives in support of House Bill 513, which Senator Will Metcalf introduced. This bill would increase the penalty for persons found guilty of causing serious bodily injury or death due to the manufacturing or delivering of a controlled substance. This bill is vital to hold drug dealers responsible for pushing the poisons they sell in our community.
