Shenandoah PD Police Blotter – March 19 - 25 2023

SHENANDOAH, TX – The following is a list of significant activity and calls for service for March 19-25, 2023. This does not necessarily reflect all calls for service during this period.

Arrests

• WARRANT – 28000 block IH-45 – Suspect stopped on traffic and had a misdemeanor warrant out of Harris County.
• THEFT – 19100 block IH-45 – Suspect stole from a local business and was arrested for Class B Theft.
• DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED – 18900 block IH-45 – Suspect vehicle stopped for traffic and the driver was intoxicated. Arrest for DWI 1st.
• EVADING MOTOR VEHICLE/ STOLEN VEHICLE / UNLAWFUL CARRY WEAPON – 18800 block IH-45 – Suspect vehicle license plate was checked and it showed to be stolen. The officer attempted to stop it; it fled from the officer and ended up crashing and flipping over. Suspect arrested for UUMV, UCW and Evading Arrest.
• THEFT – 19100 block IH-45 – Suspect stole from a local business and was arrested for Class B Theft.
• DRIVING WHILE INTOX 3rd/ Resisting Detention – 29000 Driftwood – Suspect vehicle was stopped for traffic and the driver was arrested for DWI 3rd and Resisting Detention.
• POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – 100 block Shenandoah Dr – Suspicious person called in and ended up having illegal drugs in his possession.
• THEFT / POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – 19100 block IH-45 – Suspect stole from a local business and was arrested for Class B Theft and PCS.
• THEFT – 19100 block IH-45 – Suspect stole from a local business, fled the scene but was stopped and arrested for Class A Theft.
• POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE / TAMPERING – 19300 block David Memorial – Suspect caused a disturbance at a local business. The suspect swallowed drugs when the officer spoke with him but still had some on him.

Property Offenses (without arrests)

• BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE – 19000 block IH-45 – Victim had her vehicle broken into and her purse was stolen.

Persons Crimes (without arrests)

• STALKING – 9200 Pinecroft Dr – Known suspect made numerous phone threats to the victim.
