HS Baseball Playoffs: The Woodlands Ready for Regional Semifinals

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Woodlands baseball team is traveling north to Baylor to face the Rockwall Yellowjackets for a best of three series in the Regional Semifinals.

The Woodlands has looked strong at bat and their pitching on the mound has been near unbeatable. With their many weapons, including Brayden Sharp, Nolan Roycraft, Ethan Coronel and others, The Woodlands has dominated on defense.

Lead by longtime head coach Ron Eastman, The Woodlands looks to defeat Rockwall who knocked them out of the playoffs last year. With a three-game series, it give The Woodlands a chanced to regroup in case of a loss. Last year, Rockwall forced a game three where they defeated The Woodlands, 8-2.

This year, both teams have a close record, where The Woodlands is 31-7-1 overall, while Rockwall is 35-7 going into this weekend.

Actions starts Tonight (Thursday) at 8 pm.
