Fire departments in The Woodlands and Magnolia work together to rescue two drivers in accident on FM 2978
MAGNOLIA, TX -- Just after 1pm The Woodlands Fire Department was dispatched to 2978 near Egypt Lane to assist Magnolia Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District with a two vehicle head-on collision with one person trapped. Truck 104, Rescue 101, BC 102 and BC 105 assisted with patient care and rescue. TWFD and Magnolia firefighters worked seamlessly together on a difficult extrication that took approx 40 minutes to free the trapped driver. Both drivers were transported to the hospital by MCHD in serious condition. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and DPS are investigating.
