The Woodforest Charitable Foundation donates over $4.2 million to local charities in Montgomery and Harris Counties

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- The Woodforest Charitable Foundation has recently distributed more than $4.2 million in donations to local charities in Montgomery and Harris Counties.

The non-profits included several organizations that provide youth/family support, hunger relief, health care, and crisis/housing needs in the community. The distributions were made during Woodforest Charitable Foundation’s Partnership Reception held May 23, 2023, at Woodforest National Bank in The Woodlands Town Center.

The Woodforest Charitable Foundation was created by Woodforest National Bank in 2005 as a direct result of its desire to support and invest in the communities in which it serves. The Foundation is creating a legacy of commitment to those in need, enriching lives and communities through dedicated leadership and faithful administration by providing funding to qualifying 501(c)(3) charities.
