MCTX Sheriff Arrests Three for Burglary of Habitation in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On October 2, 2023, at around 10:00 pm, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a suspicious persons call in the neighborhood of South Tranquil Path, The Woodlands, Texas. While en route deputies were given a description of the actor's vehicle.

Deputies assigned to The Woodlands Township patrol division quickly located the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. During the stop, Deputies witnessed tools that are commonly used during burglaries, as well as a backpack with jewelry and personal items that belonged to another person. Through the course of their investigation, Deputies were able to tie these three suspects to two burglaries in the area. All stolen items were returned to the rightful owners.

The three suspects, identified as Orlando Barreto age 22, Joanny Rojas Nunez age 30, and Anthony Jimenez age 28, were transported to the Montgomery County Jail where they are being charged with Burglary of a Habitation, a second-degree felony, and are placed on Immigration hold.
