Constable Gable's CIU locate Theft suspects on Interstate 45 fleeing from The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On October 10th, 2023 around 1:30PM Constable Ryan Gable's Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) deputies responded to Assist the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) on a Theft in the 1200 block of Lake Woodlands, The Woodlands.

Three individuals were seen fleeing in a red Nissan 4 door south on Interstate 45 (IH-45), towards Houston with items taken from one of the Mall stores.

Constable's Gable's CIU deputies located the Nissan, as it committed multiple traffic violations nearly striking other vehicles on IH-45. The Nissan was finally stopped on IH-45 near Springwoods Village Pkwy; where all occupants were detained.

The driver identified as; 47 year old Romalist D. Mitchell of Houston was charged with Felony Evading. Romalist along with 43 year old Curtis D. Davis of Houston and 48 year old Clevland E. Palmer of Houston were charged with Theft by MCSO.

All individuals were transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail where they were released to staff without incident and being investigated for possible further charges.

ALL ARRESTED PERSONS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
