Constable Gable's CIU deputies locate and arrest a Child Predator along IH-45 in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 around 11:45 AM, Constable Ryan Galbe's Criminal Interdiction Unit (CIU) was contacted by the Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Violent Person Task Force requesting assistance in apprehending a wanted subject identified as; 42 year old Guadalupe Jose Mendez of Houston.

Mendez was wanted out of HCSO for Continuous Sexual Assault of a Child. CIU units successfully located Mendez in the 19000 block of Interstate 45 and placed Mendez in custody for the warrant.

Mendez was transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail where was released to staff without incident.

ALL ARRESTED PERSONS ARE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.
