Rainfall Outlook: January 22-26

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- San Jacinto River Authority continues to closely monitor the rainfall expected throughout Southeast Texas. At last check, 4" - 6" of rain is expected in the Lake Conroe watershed. Our operators are on duty and will remain on duty throughout the weather event to monitor conditions.

We are in communication with the National Weather Service, Coastal Water Authority, and local offices of emergency management. The current level of Lake Conroe is 200.73 ft. msl. There are no releases at this time.

SJRA manages Lake Conroe storm releases any time the lake level exceeds 201 ft. msl, which may happen during this weather event.

To stay weather aware during the rainfall this week, make sure to follow your local Office of Emergency Management, as well as local weather sources, and the National Weather Service - Houston.
