TRAFFIC UPDATE: Route of Thursday's procession for MCSO Deputy Charles Rivette

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will conduct the funeral procession for Deputy Charles Rivette, who recently died in the line of duty in an auto accident on Thursday, February 29 at approximately 12 noon. The procession will go from The Woodlands Church, where there will be held a public memorial service, to Rivette's final resting place in Garden Park Cemetery.

The following will be impacted:

• The procession will depart westbound on Hwy 242 from The Woodlands Church
• The procession will turn right on FM 1488 and travel eastbound to I-45 North
• The procession will travel northbound on the feeder road and enter I-45 North
• The procession will take I-45 North to Exit 3083 to Garden Park Cemetery.

All traffic will be stopped in those areas as the processino proceeds through. The procession should last between approximately 12 noon and 1 p.m. Please plan accordingly and expect travel delays.
