The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival Announces Art Dash Party April 12, 2024

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Discover the dazzling world of art on Friday, April 12th, with the Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy. As the thrilling kick-off of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is set for April 12-14, the popular Art Dash Party will feature a room of festival artists and art lovers at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

The newly appointed general manager of The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel, Jennifer Gohagan, commented: “We are delighted to participate in the 19th Annual The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, one of the top events held in The Woodlands and draws visitors from near and far. Our hotel is proud to be a sponsor and host The Art Dash Party fundraiser on April 12th, which benefits The Woodlands Arts Council Scholarship program.”

The highlight of the evening is the competitive 60-Second Art Dash, in which ticket holders can quickly dash to select a coveted original art piece donated by the festival’s fine artists. The party also features delicious light bites, adult beverages, and live music, presenting the perfect ambiance for mingling and power networking.

The stunning painting “Water Break” by this year's Featured Artist, Regina Lyubovnaya, will be auctioned off along with other exciting items. Funds raised at the Art Dash Party from the live auction and ticket sales will generously benefit The Woodlands Arts Council’s Student Art Scholarship Program. The Woodlands Arts Council awarded nearly $50,000 in scholarships in 2024.

This year’s event is co-chaired by three devoted art lovers serving the Arts Council who have made a lasting impact on our Student Art Scholarship program by elevating the Art Dash Party: TWAC Board Vice President Haley Garcia, TWAC Board Secretary Nancy Charbonneau, and TWAC Board Past President James Stilwell.

Party tickets are $175 each, and the 60-Second Art Dash tickets are $250 each. Table sponsorships are available and provide many exciting perks.
