Esprit International School Announces the Launch of Beginnings Montessori Program for Toddlers

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Esprit International School is thrilled to announce the opening of its new Beginnings program, designed specifically for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. This program aims to provide a Montessori education through a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Montessori education philosophy fosters independence, self-discipline, and cultivates a love for learning in children. Our program creates an environment that encourages exploration and discovery with an approach that equips children with valuable skills and attitudes that will serve them well in an ever-evolving society.

The Beginnings program is tailored to support the developmental milestones of toddlers. Young children ages 0-3 are experiencing a period of rapid development, during which they are highly receptive to their surroundings. This phase, referred to as "The Absorbent Mind" by Maria Montessori, is characterized by sensitive periods where children have a strong urge to engage in specific activities repeatedly until they achieve mastery. To support this developmental stage, our environment is thoughtfully designed to offer children the freedom to choose materials that cater to their current sensitive periods, within clearly defined boundaries. This developmental stage offers a valuable opportunity for children to learn about teamwork, separation from their parents, sharing, and building confidence and autonomy.

The Beginnings program emphasizes hands-on learning experiences.
