Kailee Mills Foundation awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to students

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Kailee Mills Foundation – a nonprofit organization that promotes saving lives through seatbelt safety awareness, recently announced the recipients of its 2024 scholarships.

The purpose of the Kailee Mills Foundation Scholarship Program is to educate teen drivers about seat belt safety through seat belt awareness, research, volunteerism, and leadership. Scholarship recipients deliver high levels of academic achievement, ambition, leadership, and a desire to make a difference. The Kailee Mills Foundation has awarded $191,000 in scholarships since 2020.

The scholarship awards vary in range but could be up to $20,000. Scholarship awards of $5,000 and above are distributed at $5,000 per semester, with awarded amounts under $5,000 being a one-time distribution. These scholarships must be used at any 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university. All applicants must show academic achievement and help to spread seat belt safety awareness in their community.

This year, college scholarships were awarded to these 16 deserving students:

  • Isabella Harrington – $20,000 Recipient
  • Brooklyn Alford – $10,000 Recipient
  • Rose Liardon – $10,000 Recipient
  • Jordan Frost – $5,000 Recipient
  • Isabelle Callahan – $5,000 Recipient
  • Krrisha Patel – $2,500 Recipient
  • AvaLucia Matasso – $2,500 Recipient
  • Zoey Ybarra – $1,000 Recipient
  • Alyssa Brown – $1,000 Recipient
  • Gabriel Sauceda – $1,000 Recipient
  • Rachel Nelson – $1,000 Recipient
  • Kaylee Teske – $1,000 Recipient
  • Leonardo Hernandez – $1,000 Recipient
  • David Polansky – $1,000 Recipient
  • Hadyn Getz – $1,000 Recipient
  • Kennedy Rinehart – $1,000 Recipient

Administrators at the Lailee Mills Foundation encourage students and their parents to keep uo to date on the 2025 application calendar.
