REWARD OFFERED: Help Identify Suspect in Fatal Hit-and-Run That Killed Everett Smith

HOUSTON, TX -- Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a deadly hit-and-run crash.
On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Everett Jerome Smith was walking in the 1400 block of Egypt Street when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver fled the scene without stopping to help. Tragically, Everett died from the severe injuries he sustained.
Everett’s family is devastated and pleading with the community for answers. They are asking anyone who may have seen something or who has any information to come forward and help bring justice in this case.
Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the location and arrest of the suspects featured.
