THE WOODLANDS, TX -- With June getting underway, important dates and events are coming down the chute for the coaches, players, and parents of the South County Football League.

The dedicated organizers at the SCFL are ready for a jam-packed June, which includes a variety of events and collaborations with other groups from around the Woodlands area.

Most important for parents wanting to get their children involved in the SCFL as a player or cheerleader is the upcoming deadline for registration. June 6th will be the final day for parents to take advantage of registration prices at $325 before the start of the late registration period, beginning on June 7th.

Also coming up for the athletes is the SCFL Summer Football camp that will be run in cooperation with College Park High School. Coaches like Cavalier Head Coach Kyle Coats will be a part of the leadership staff of the camp, promising a solid start for the young athletes.

Time is still available for athletes to sign up before the camp starts on June 18th. While they won’t be guaranteed a Camp Shirt, the experience of being side-by-side with a 13-6A program emphasizes the importance of youth athletics.

While the first games will be played on August 30th, the SCFL hopes that people wanting to be involved will find the best ways for themselves. A dedicated and driven league that strives to succeed in bringing in the next generation of gridiron stars.
