One-Vehicle Collision Involving Tesla Cybertruck Under Investigation in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 9:19 PM this evening, The Woodlands Fire Department Truck 104 and Montgomery County Hospital District (MCHD) were dispatched to the scene of a single-vehicle collision near the intersection of Greenbridge and Research Forest Drive.

Upon arrival, first responders found a Tesla Cybertruck that had left the roadway, striking multiple trees and a fire hydrant before coming to rest on a pedestrian pathway. The vehicle narrowly missed two bicyclists, one of whom was a teenager.

The driver of the vehicle declined medical treatment on the scene. However, the teen cyclist was transported by MCHD to a local hospital for medical evaluation. No fatalities have been reported.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision. At this time, no further details regarding the cause of the crash have been released.
