Vehicle Fire Quickly Contained by The Woodlands Fire Department

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Monday, The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Grogans Mill Road, just south of South Millbend Drive. Engine 103 and Battalion 101 were dispatched to the scene and arrived quickly to find a vehicle actively on fire.

Firefighters acted swiftly and were able to extinguish the blaze in a short amount of time. The fire was determined to have been caused by a mechanical issue. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office provided assistance with traffic control to ensure the safety of responders and drivers in the area.

The Woodlands Fire Department reminds residents to remain vigilant about vehicle maintenance and to contact emergency services immediately if a fire is suspected.
