Habitual Shoplifter Arrested on Felony Theft Warrant in Northern Harris County

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On Monday, August 18, 2025, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Crime Reduction Unit located and arrested Destiny Lakedra Brown, 35, at her residence in northern Harris County. Brown was taken into custody without incident on an active felony warrant for theft.

Brown is a habitual shoplifter known for targeting retail stores in and around The Woodlands Market Street area, and has numerous prior convictions for theft.

Brown was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.
