Shenandoah Police Arrest Three After Parking Lot Fight and Shooting on I-45

SHENANDOAH, TX -- On September 2, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Shenandoah Police were dispatched to the 19100 block of interstate 45 for a reported physical disturbance outside a business. At least two 911 callers reported that four males were fighting physically in the parking lot. Just over a minute later, a caller reported that someone had been shot.
Shenandoah PD units and a Montgomery County Sheriff's Office deputy arrived shortly after, and all individuals involved were detained. A male was found with a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen. EMS transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The investigation found that aggressive panhandling in the parking lot escalated into a verbal and physical confrontation, which resulted in a shooting. Three males were charged and taken into custody. Heiler Villamizar, 27 years old, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury. Arnold° Perales-Castro, 55, of Dickinson, TX, was charged with Assault Causing Bodily injury. Agapito Longoria, 36, of Brownsville, TX, was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
