House Fire in Village of Creekside Extinguished by The Woodlands Fire Department

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- At approximately 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon, The Woodlands Fire Department (TWFD) was dispatched to Wrangler Pass Drive in the Village of Creekside for a reported house fire.

Engine 108 was first to arrive on scene and reported active fire on the side of the home involving pool equipment. Firefighters from Engine 108 quickly contained and extinguished the blaze, while additional crews entered the residence to check for any fire extension.

Although the fire caused damage to the exterior of the home, the swift and aggressive response from TWFD prevented the flames from spreading inside. All residents were able to evacuate safely before crews arrived, and no injuries were reported.

The Woodlands Fire Department received assistance on scene from Spring Fire Department and Magnolia Fire Department. The Harris County Fire Marshal’s Office (HCFMO) is investigating the cause of the fire.
