Electrical Incident at Work Site Sends Two to Hospital in The Woodlands

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after noon on Monday, The Woodlands Fire Department and Montgomery County Hospital District responded to reports of multiple injuries at a work site near the intersection of Branch Crossing and Woodlands Parkway.

Engine 105 arrived first on scene and located two individuals who were stable following an electrical incident. Initial reports indicate that an Entergy crew was servicing a transformer when an electrical arc occurred.

Both patients were transported to Memorial Hermann for further treatment.

Entergy has confirmed that an investigation into the incident is currently underway.
