Montgomery County SWAT and U.S. Marshals Arrest Fugitive Wanted for Child Sexual Assault and Evading Arrest

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- On September 8, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Operators, deputized as Task Force Officers with the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force, arrested wanted fugitive Fredrick Lamar Harris.
Harris, 33, was wanted on felony warrants out of Montgomery County for Felony Sexual Assault of a Child and Evading Arrest and Detention in a Vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently confined in the Montgomery County Jail.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office commends the professionalism and precision of its SWAT Operators for safely bringing this dangerous individual into custody. This successful arrest also reflects a decade of strong partnership with the United States Marshals Service, working side by side to ensure fugitives are brought to justice and our communities remain safe.
