Memorial Hermann Honors Patriot Day

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center commemorated Patriot Day Thursday morning with a special 9/11 flag ceremony for its staff and area EMS. The event included a blessing honoring those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks 24 years ago on September 11, 2001, and recognized the many first responders who answered the call.

A breakfast was available after the morning’s flag ceremony. The Chaplaincy team provided the blessing and a representative from the hospital’s VETS employee resource group (ERG) spoke during a brief program at the campus flagpoles.
