THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Join us for an afternoon of classic cars and local heroes dueling in a heated softball game!

Sunday, September 28, 2025
4 to 7 p.m.
Alden Bridge Sports Park
4751 College Park Dr.

As part of this year’s National Night Out events throughout The Woodlands, residents are invited to cheer on their favorite public safety personnel at a new location: Alden Bridge Sports Park. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and The Woodlands Fire Department will face off in a spirited softball game to celebrate friendly rivalry and our community’s support for local public safety personnel.

In addition, the event will feature The Woodlands Car Club Community Car Showcase with classic and custom cars. Awards will be distributed onsite for Police Choice, Firefighters’ Choice, Kid’s Choice and National Night Out Best of Show. A Kid Zone will be available, along with free hot dogs and hamburgers, while supplies last, sponsored by Kroger. Admission is free.

The Boots vs. Badges Softball Game, coordinated by The Woodlands Township’s Neighborhood Services Department, gives the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and The Woodlands Fire Department the rare opportunity to go head-to-head and battle it out on the field for this year’s trophy. Guests can enjoy the fellow sportsmanship and spirited rivalry and see who takes the title!
