THE WOODLANDS, TX -- St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital recently hosted its fourth Annual Neonatal Memorial Ceremony, a poignant event held in observance of Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. The gathering provided a sacred space for families and staff to come together in remembrance and healing.

The hospital's serene butterfly garden served as the backdrop for the ceremony, offering a peaceful environment for attendees to reflect on the lives of babies who touched their hearts and were gone too soon.

This year's tribute was particularly moving, as grieving families were invited to participate in a symbolic act of remembrance. They tenderly lit candles and hung ornaments on a tree within the butterfly garden, each representing a beloved child. This deeply personal gesture created a somber yet beautiful display, serving as a profound testament to the enduring love families hold for their little ones.

"We were honored once again to create a space for quiet reflection and shared understanding," said Judy Brown, MSN, RNC-OB, Director of Women and Infant Services. "The ceremony is a vital part of our commitment to supporting our community through difficult times, and it allows us to collectively honor the small souls who are forever held in our hearts. Witnessing families share their love and remembrance in such a personal way is truly humbling."

St. Luke's Health-The Woodlands Hospital remains dedicated to offering compassion and support to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.
