Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Suspect After Pursuit in Conroe Linked to Child Sexual Assault Investigation

CONROE, TX -- Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit successfully apprehended a suspect today following a brief pursuit in Conroe.

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives with the Special Victims Unit were conducting a search warrant at the residence of Tywes Null, a 41-year-old male, regarding a Sexual Assault of a Child.

At approximately 6pm, Detectives located Mr. Null in the 11700 block of Farrel Road in Willis. When approached in his vehicle, Null refused to comply with commands to exit the vehicle and began to self-harm. Null then drove away from the scene, leading deputies on a pursuit.

The pursuit concluded when Null's vehicle crashed into a gas station pump near the 1200 block of North Loop 336 in Conroe. Deputies were able to safely detain Null at the crash site and take him into custody. Null has been transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. After treatment, Null will be transported to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Jail and charged with felony for Sexual Assault of a Child and a new charge of Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing. Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are currently executing the search warrant at Null’s address in connection with this case. Additional charges may be filed pending the outcome of the investigation.
