THE WOODLANDS, TX — Under sunshine and perfect skies, The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA) hosted its 14th Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at The Woodlands Country Club Player Course.

146 golfers were joined by an enthusiastic group of volunteers, alumni, sponsors, and friends of the school for the annual event. It was a day of community, connection, and friendly competition — all in support of TWCA’s mission and ongoing school initiatives.

This year’s tournament chairs, Karisa and Fred Gallucci of Mercedes-Benz of The Woodlands, kicked off the day’s event with an introduction and thank you to the sponsors.

“We are honored to be the chairs of this year's golf tournament,” they shared. “All the parents and staff do so much for the school, and we were excited to have the opportunity to contribute. It's wonderful to be with everyone to raise money that goes straight to the students. We are overjoyed to do our part.”

Head of School Julie Ambler led the opening prayer, and the Warrior Choir sang the National Anthem before a shotgun start sent golfers out for a memorable day on the course.

“It's always such a pleasure to sponsor this golf tournament each year. It’s great to have the camaraderie and see everyone come together for the school,” said Nick Roberts with Melissa Roberts Interiors, the 19th Hole Sponsor.

Returning as the event’s Title Sponsor, grindworksUSA, LLC. is rooted in Japanese craftsmanship, cutting-edge innovation, and an obsession with quality. Their mission is to redefine performance and feel for discerning golfers worldwide.

“It's wonderful to be able to represent the school and help in achieving all the dreams that we have for our school community. I think golf is a great way to enjoy working toward the goals that TWCA has set forth for all of us,” said Justine Reed with grindworksUSA.

The victors of the tournament were the Perry Electric team of Will Perry, Marty Ellington, Alex Baldridge, and Jeremy Woodard. Other notable contest wins included Ryan Manicom and Kacie Bevers for Closest to the Pin, Connor Lee and Sarah Perry for the Trackman Long Drive Contest, and Jose Palafox for the Putting Contest.

A special thank you to everyone whose continued support strengthens opportunities for students and fuels excellence throughout the school. TWCA looks forward to welcoming the community back next year — with the same mission, same spirit, and same winning energy. **
