THE WOODLANDS, TX -- As the holiday season quickly approaches, Interfaith of The Woodlands is calling on the community to join in spreading joy and hope through its annual Holiday GIVING Programs. Each year, Interfaith serves nearly 10,000 local individuals, families, and Seniors who need extra support during the holidays. Through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and local partners, Interfaith ensures that every neighbor in need can experience the warmth and magic of the season.

Interfaith’s Holiday GIVING Programs offer multiple ways for the community to come together and make a difference:

  • Adopt-a-Family: Community members, businesses, and organizations can “adopt” local families by providing requested holiday gifts for their children.
  • Holiday Toy Drive: Join us in bringing joy to children of all ages by donating new, unwrapped toys. Donations are distributed through Interfaith of The Woodlands, where parents can select gifts for their children. Please submit your toys by Thursday, December 4th. Drop-off locations include Interfaith of The Woodlands and any of the eight local fire stations throughout The Woodlands, Precinct 3 Commissioners Office, Kevin Brady Community Center and Library, and Spring Creek Greenway Nature Center.
  • Gifts for Seniors: Interfaith of The Woodlands will be offering two gift card options for the Gifts for Seniors program this year. The cost to provide a gift to one Senior is $50. Our senior clients have an option to choose either a $50 Walmart Gift Card OR a $50 Target Gift Card. Gift cards for Seniors should be delivered to Interfaith no later than 12:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2025.The season culminates with the beloved Holiday GIVING Dinner and Carols by Candlelight, where more than 400 seniors gather to share a festive meal, music, and fellowship.

In addition to gifts, all participating families and Seniors receive food from the Interfaith Food Pantry to prepare a holiday meal, along with a clothing voucher from the Hand Me Up Shop to help them stay warm through the winter months.

“Each year, the generosity of this community amazes us,” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “Our neighbors’ willingness to give, whether through gifts, donations, or time, ensures that every family and Senior in need can experience the joy of the season.”

Interfaith is also grateful to Waste Connections for once again supporting the program through their annual Bike Build, providing new bicycles for children throughout the community.

Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to participate by donating, adopting, or volunteering. Toy donations will be accepted beginning Monday, November 3rd, at Interfaith’s main office (4242 Interfaith Way, The Woodlands, TX), Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m, Friday, 8:30 a.m - 12 p.m.
