THE WOODLANDS, TX -- St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital proudly announces it has achieved an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, a national independent nonprofit watchdog dedicated to patient safety. This distinguished recognition, awarded in Leapfrog’s Fall 2025 update, places St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital among the safest facilities in the nation.

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade assigns A, B, C, D, or F grades to general hospitals across the country, evaluating over 30 measures including errors, accidents, injuries, and infections, as well as the robust systems hospitals implement to prevent them. This rigorous assessment highlights a hospital's unwavering commitment to patient well-being.

“Earning an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade is a direct reflection of the tireless dedication and exceptional care provided by every single member of our team at St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital,” said Jim Parisi, President of St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital. “This achievement reinforces our profound commitment to creating the safest possible environment for our patients and their families, ensuring they receive the highest quality care with utmost confidence.”

The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade stands as the only hospital ratings program focused solely on preventable medical errors, infections, and injuries. This program, peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public, empowers patients to make informed decisions about their healthcare. Grades are meticulously updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.
