Lone Star College-Magnolia Center opens in January 2026
HOUSTON, TX -- With 2026 fast approaching, now is a perfect chance to renew your commitment to education and career growth. To help meet those needs, the Lone Star College-Magnolia Center will open in January 2026 and is now enrolling students for the spring 2026 semester.
The 85,000 square-foot facility will be a dynamic higher-education hub supporting workforce development, instruction, and community partnerships for southwest Montgomery and southeast Waller counties.
“The Lone Star College–Magnolia Center will be a strong partner for the community by offering academic and workforce programs that lead to high-value certificates, associate degrees, and transfer opportunities to four-year institutions,” said Lee Ann Nutt, Ed.D., LSC-Tomball president. “We are thrilled to open this full-service center and strengthen our connections with the Magnolia community by providing top-quality programs, services, and support.”
The spring semester at all LSCS locations begins Jan. 20, and registration is still open. At LSC-Magnolia Center, students can enroll in various courses, including art, biology, business, drama, economics, EDUC 1300, English, environmental science, geology, government, history, math, philosophy, physical education, physics, psychology, sociology, and speech.
“As you can see, the Lone Star College-Magnolia Center has a variety of course offerings to help you start, continue or complete your educational journey,” said Latoya Hardman, LSC-Tomball vice president, Instruction. “We encourage you to register as early as possible to build a schedule that best fits your needs.”
Along with course offerings, the LSC-Magnolia Center will also support students through various services, including advising, degree planning, student life opportunities, transfer services, and veterans services. Students will also have full access to the library, study aids, testing center, and tutoring.
