Walmart on 242/College Park- NO SHOTS FIRED

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Earlier this evening there were reports of an active shooter inside the Walmart on Hwy 242/ College Park. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and K9 units have searched the premises and investigated these reports. We can confirm that no shots were fired. Units have cleared the building and the Walmart is safe. This situation stems from a verbal altercation between two males at the location. It cannot be confirmed that a firearm was ever actually displayed. There is no threat to the public and both actors have left the area.
