Young Makers Market applications are open

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Arts Council is thrilled to announce that applications for the Young Makers Market are open, starting today, March 9, 2026. This exciting opportunity invites young artists ages 9-18 to showcase and sell their original artwork in a vibrant public setting.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, selected young artists will take over Market Street - The Woodlands, transforming the space into a dynamic marketplace of creativity and talent. The Young Makers Market is more than just an art sale; it’s a platform to gain real-world experience in entrepreneurship, connect with the community, and celebrate their passion for art.

The Young Makers Market is produced by The Woodlands Arts Council and hosted by Market Street - The Woodlands.

Aspiring artists are encouraged to submit their application by May 4 to be part of this unique event. Limited spots are available. The Young Artist applications will be juried.
