THE WOODLANDS, TX – The music acts for the 2026 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo have been announced, and this year features a diverse lineup including Riley Green, Lizzo, J Balvin, Chris Stapleton, Kelly Clarkson, Lainey Wilson, and Tim McGraw, with a concert-only finale by Cody Johnson on March 22, alongside many other country, Latin, and pop artists like Creed, Megan Moroney, and Pepe Aguilar.

The rodeo, which runs March 2 - 22 at NRG Stadium, is a huge annual draw – more than 2.7 million attendees last year – and with an event that size comes a giant headache for many when it comes to travel to/from and parking at. Fortunately, The Woodlands Township Transit Department has the perfect remedy: The Rodeo Express.

The Rodeo Express is one of the Township’s most popular seasonal transit services, offering residents and visitors a convenient way to travel to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. This special service departs from the Sawdust Park and Ride and provides a hassle-free, direct ride to the rodeo – all for the standard cost of a Woodlands Express ticket. Tickets for the 2026 Rodeo season will go on sale in February. Please note that regular Woodlands Express commuter tickets will not be accepted for Rodeo Express service. Plan ahead and secure your round-trip tickets early, as this popular service fills quickly.

By riding Rodeo Express from Sawdust, you can skip the stress and expense of parking at the rodeo altogether. There are no parking fees at the Park and Ride, and you’ll avoid the heavy traffic, long walks and high rates associated with on-site event parking at NRG. Just park, board and enjoy a relaxing ride.

Stay tuned to Woodlands Online for information on when tickets go on sale.
