Joint Prostitution Sting Results in 21 Arrests in West Montgomery County
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- On February 11 and 12, 2026, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, in a joint operation with the Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable’s Office, conducted a targeted undercover sting to combat human trafficking and illegal solicitation of prostitution.
The two-day operation took place at a local hotel in West Montgomery County. Undercover detectives utilized various dating websites frequently used for prostitution to identify and apprehend individuals seeking to engage in illegal commercial sex acts.
The initiative successfully led to the arrest of 21 individuals for Solicitation of Prostitution. These efforts are part of an ongoing commitment by local law enforcement to disrupt the demand for illegal sex work, which often serves as a precursor to more severe forms of organized crime and human exploitation.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office remains dedicated to protecting our neighborhoods and supporting victims of human trafficking. All suspects were transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.
