YES to YOUTH Names Co-Chairs for the 2026 Gala Supporting At-Risk Youth
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- YES to YOUTH announces an exceptional team of co-chairs who will lead its 2026 annual fundraising gala set for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center to raise critical funds to help ensure every child has a brighter future.
New co-chairs Lauren Fox of Premiere Events and Rachel Ray of Entergy Texas join returning leaders Amber Scheer of Truluck’s and Evan Berlin of Rotork Controls, Inc., forming a dynamic four-person team united by a shared commitment to strengthening and supporting vulnerable youth in Montgomery County. Together, they bring tremendous community support, passion, and leadership to this impactful evening.
The 2026 will feature the theme “Every Child Deserves an Ever After,” highlighting YES to YOUTH’s mission to strengthen the emotional and mental health of youth and families through crisis intervention, counseling, and suicide prevention.
For more than 47 years, YES to YOUTH has served at-risk youth and families across Montgomery County. Through its BridgeWay Youth Shelter, children ages 10-17 receive a safe, nurturing environment while healing from abuse, neglect, homelessness, and trafficking. Additional programs include individual mental health counseling, school-based prevention education, parenting and youth skills groups, crisis counseling, and a 24-hour crisis hotline.
“YES to YOUTH represents the heart of our community — ensuring that children have access to safety, stability, and hope,” said Lauren Fox. “I am honored to serve as a co-chair and look forward to working alongside such a passionate group of community leaders. Supporting vulnerable youth has always been a calling for me, and I am committed to helping YES to YOUTH to continue providing life-changing resources and opportunities for the young people of our future,” said Lauren Fox.
Rachel Ray added, “As a Montgomery County hometown girl, it is deeply meaningful to give back to the community that raised and shaped me. I am so lucky to have been raised in a safe environment, so it is an honor to co-chair YES to YOUTH’s Gala because every young person deserves to be supported and have opportunities to thrive.”
YES to YOUTH CEO Michele Kooken, praised the leadership team, stating, “Our gala is an inspiring evening of generosity and is the single largest investment our community makes each year in the safety and mental wellness of our youth. I am deeply grateful to Amber, Evan, Lauren, and Rachel for stepping forward with much heart and leadership. Their dedication ensures that children facing unimaginable circumstances receive shelter, counseling, and HOPE. Together, we are building brighter futures and reminding every child that their story is not over – their ever after is still possible!”
The 2026 gala is expected to draw approximately 500 community leaders, philanthropists, and supporters. Sponsorship, underwriting, and table opportunities are now available.
