THE WOODLANDS, TX – YES to YOUTH – a Montgomery County-based nonprofit organization that provides a safe and nurturing home where abused, battered, sex-trafficked, homeless, and at-risk youth begin healing from the past and become empowered for the future – is currently hosting two important back-to-school drives to help local youth in need start the new school year with confidence.

Your chance to donate school supplies or gift cards

During the month of July, the organization is collecting gift cards for clothing stores to help teens shop for new clothes and shoes. This support helps students feel prepared, confident, and ready to go back to school. All donations go directly to young people in need, and all relevant gift cards – from Target, Walmart, HEB, Amazon, and more – are encouraged.

YES to YOUTH is also collecting school supplies through August 1. From backpacks and notebooks to pencils and folders, the staff wants to make sure every student has the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

The Amazon Back-to-School Supply List can be found at https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/320HYQDQYD35M/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex.

The drop-off location is 8701 New Trails Drive, Suite 118, The Woodlands, TX 77381, available 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
