THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Spring Creek Chapter, NSDAR, proudly celebrated America 250 by participating in The Woodlands 4th of July Parade.

Along the parade route, chapter members shared patriotic clappers and bracelets with children as we joined the community in celebrating our nation’s independence. The morning was filled with patriotic spirit, including the National Anthem, a flyover, and a wonderful display of American pride.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the following members who participated: Gail Bielitz, Kim Cantwell, Toni Carbone, Gretchen Crawford, Ava DeVera, Becky Feaster, Jane Herberich, Jessica Holland, Sheri Hummer, Lucile Landis, Constance Miles, Gwen Rosendale, Maria Rosendale, Jamie Swearingen, and Ann Snyder, who served as a parade judge.

Husband of DAR (HODAR) Steve Hummer also served as a parade judge.

We were especially delighted to have husbands, children, grandchildren, and fathers join us in this meaningful celebration.

Spring Creek Chapter hopes to make this patriotic event a treasured annual tradition as we continue honoring America 250 and celebrating our nation’s rich history.
