North Houston's City Place Introduces Inaugural 'School of Fly' Event Featuring Orvis

SPRING, TX -- Continuing its commitment to outdoor recreation and nature-based programming, North Houston's City Place will debut the inaugural City Place School of Fly, featuring ORVIS, on Saturday, September 12, 2026. The complimentary event invites guests to discover the fundamentals of fly fishing while experiencing the community's 150-acre Nature Preserve, one of the area's most unique outdoor destinations.

Produced by City Place, the one-day experience will feature expert instruction from ORVIS, with instructors from the brand's The Woodlands store leading a series of fly-casting clinics and fly-tying workshops throughout the day.
