Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital chooses New Danville as Leadership Development Academy charity partner
THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Leadership Development Academy, a 12-month campus program co-led on-site to mentor and prepare local health care professionals and nurse leaders for future growth and organizational responsibilities, has chosen local nonprofit organization New Danville as its latest class project and charity partner.
New Danville provides adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities an opportunity to live enriched and purposeful lives, while providing a safe and caring environment encouraging independence and growth.
Class participants collected donations and classroom supplies for our day program, then celebrated the successful drive with a special breakfast at New Danville. During their visit, they spent time with our Wranglers and Mavericks, toured the classrooms, and saw firsthand the programs and activities their generosity will help strengthen.
“Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center has been an important part of New Danville’s story from the very beginning, and we deeply value the relationship we’ve built over the years. We’re honored to have been chosen for this project and thankful for their continued commitment to our community,” said Mike Painter, president and CEO of New Danville.
