Conroe Police Use Flock Cameras to Locate and Arrest Suspect in Stabbing

CONROE, TX -- On July 25, 2026, CPD Officers responded to a disturbance involving weapons where someone had been stabbed at a local apartment complex in the 2000 block of N. Loop 336 W.

Upon arrival, Officers quickly secured the scene and located the victim suffering from a stab wound and significant blood loss. An officer on scene immediately rendered medical aid by packing the wound and maintaining pressure until EMS arrived. Other Officers secured the scene, identified evidence, and began developing information to locate the suspect.

As the investigation progressed, Officers quickly identified the suspect vehicle. Officers utilized the Flock camera system and determined the vehicle had fled the city. Officers were later notified that the suspect vehicle was back in the City of Conroe after it was picked up by one of the Flock cameras. This information was immediately relayed to Officers, enabling them to locate the vehicle and safely arrest the suspect, Darrell Dill, 40, without incident.

This is another example of how the Flock camera system assisted Officers in quickly locating and apprehending a suspect. Combined with thorough police work and rapid communication, this technology continues to be a valuable tool in helping keep our community safe
