Montgomery County Sex Offender Sentenced to 30 Years in Prison for Promoting Child Pornography
WILLIS, TX -- In March 2025, the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, led by Sgt. Jerry Serratt, arrested registered sex offender Aaron Blair on a charge of Promotion of Child Pornography.
Following his arrest, Blair initially fought extradition back to Texas. After warrants were issued and the extradition process moved forward, Blair was returned to Montgomery County and booked into the Montgomery County Jail in August 2025.
In July 2026, Blair pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
This case reflects the continued commitment of the Montgomery County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office to protecting children and holding those who exploit them accountable. Our investigators will continue pursuing these offenders wherever an investigation may lead and no matter how far they attempt to run.
“Those who prey on children should understand that distance will not protect them from accountability. We will continue working these cases, following the evidence, and pursuing offenders until they are brought to justice.”
