Recreational Program Spring 2026
Celebrating the Completion of Spring 2026 and Looking Ahead to Fall 2026
📅 May 1, 2026
📍 Houston, TX
This past Saturday marked an exciting conclusion to the Spring 2026 Recreational Program, proudly partnered with TDECU, as more than 3,500 players took to the fields one final time to celebrate the end of another memorable season and receive their medals.
Spanning 11 locations across the Greater Houston area, the Recreational Program welcomed thousands of players and families throughout the spring season for weekends full of energy, teamwork, and passion for the game. With 425 teams competing, more than 1,800 matches played, and 350 volunteer coaches leading the way, the season showcased the continued growth and strength of grassroots soccer in our communities.
Each week, more than 12,000 spectators came out to support players at our recreational sites in Clear Lake, Cypress, Friendswood, Fulshear, Humble, Kingwood, League City, Sienna, Tomball, The Woodlands, and Woodforest. Their enthusiasm helped create an incredible atmosphere across every location.
As one season ends, excitement is already building for the Fall 2026 Recreational Program. We thank every player, parent, coach, volunteer, and staff member who made Spring 2026 such a success and look forward to seeing everyone back on the fields soon.

“As we wrap up an incredible Spring 2026 season, we want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make it such a success,” said Marcus Storey, Sienna Director. “From our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes with registration, scheduling, team formation, and field preparation, to our volunteer coaches who gave their time and energy to support our players each week, this season would not have been possible without you. Most importantly, thank you to our players and families for bringing such amazing enthusiasm and spirit all season long. We’re already excited for what’s ahead this Fall 2026.”
“The Spring 2026 season was a tremendous success, and we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in making it memorable,” said Rodrigo Miranda, Cypress & Tomball Recreational Director. “It was incredible to watch our grassroots players develop, compete, and most importantly have fun throughout the season. Thank you to all the families, coaches, and supporters who created such a positive environment week after week. We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for an exciting Fall 2026 season.”
“You couldn’t have asked for a better Spring season,” said Trey Tesno, Woodforest Recreational Director. “The energy from our players, families, and coaches was outstanding from start to finish. Our program continues to grow alongside the community, and we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who contributed to such a special season. We can’t wait to build on that momentum this Fall 2026.”
“It has been incredible to see the continued strength of our Recreational programs and partnerships across the East this Spring,” said Jamie Bell, HTX North & East Regional Director. “In Kingwood, our partnership with Kingwood Alliance continues to provide a fantastic platform for players and families to enjoy the game. In Humble, the leadership and dedication of our local staff and volunteers have created an outstanding environment where players can thrive both on and off the field. We’re proud of everything accomplished this season and look forward to an even bigger and better Fall season.”
“At TDECU, we believe financial empowerment starts with building real-life skills that help young people succeed in every stage of life,” said Josh Brian, TDECU Chief Growth Officer. “Our partnership with HTX Soccer is one of the many ways we’re proud to invest in the next generation both on and off the field. Throughout the Spring 2026 season, these young athletes demonstrated teamwork, discipline, and dedication, qualities that will serve them well far beyond the game. We’re grateful to have been part of their journey this season and look forward to continuing our support as we head into Fall 2026.”
“Partnering with TDECU, Houston’s largest credit union, has been an incredible addition for our club and our members throughout the Spring 2026 season,” said Simon Boddison, Director of Soccer Operations. “TDECU understands the transformative impact of youth sports, from building stronger communities to creating opportunities for young athletes to grow and succeed. Their values align closely with our mission to grow the game and expand our reach across Houston. We’re grateful for their support this season and excited for what’s ahead as we continue working together to elevate the experience for our players and families this Fall.”
