HTX Soccer Launches 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign with Renewed Support from Hunter Family Orthodontics

HTX Soccer has announced the return of its annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign, launching this September and October as part of the 2026 fall season. Building on more than a decade of community impact, the campaign will once again unite thousands of players, families, coaches, and supporters to raise awareness and funds for cancer related causes across the Greater Houston area. The campaign has become one of the club's signature community outreach initiatives.

A cornerstone of this year's campaign is the renewed partnership with Hunter Family Orthodontics, whose continued support helps expand the initiative's reach and impact. Together, HTX Soccer and its community partners aim to raise awareness while providing meaningful financial assistance to local charities and HTX families.

As part of the campaign, HTX Soccer will offer a specially designed 2026 Breast Cancer Awareness jersey for purchase by players, families, alumni, and supporters. Proceeds from jersey sales will directly benefit local charitable organizations and members of the HTX Soccer community navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment.

"It is such an honor and a privilege to be a part of the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign with HTX Soccer," said Dr. Ross Hunter of Hunter Family Orthodontics. "The players do a fantastic job of raising awareness throughout the month of October in our community. My mother is fortunately a breast cancer survivor, so it brings me great joy to see all the pink shirts being worn by the athletes, knowing that a part of the proceeds goes toward finding a cure."

The annual campaign has evolved into a club-wide tradition that extends well beyond the soccer field, encouraging young athletes to become ambassadors for an important cause while demonstrating the power of service and community involvement.  Since the program’s inception, our club has raised over $230,000, with more than 16,400 pink shirts sold and worn by members of our community. Each shirt is more than just a piece of fabric, it’s a symbol of our shared commitment to fighting breast cancer and supporting those affected by it.
