Great Expectations Advent Speaker Series

Advent, literally "The Coming", is a time to focus on the message of Peace, Hope, Love and Joy as you prepare yourself for the Christmas season.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas - On Tuesdays, December 7, 2010 and December 14, 2010 from noon until 1 p.m., Christ Church United Methodist will be hosting the Fourth Annual Advent Speaker Series titled Great Expectations. This will be one hour during a busy work week and holiday season to spend time in His word, His presence and the fellowship of others.

Guests will enjoy uplifting messages of hope and love from two of the Texas' most dynamic Methodist preachers, Rev. J.D. Walt and Dr. Ted Campbell. Musical entertainment provided by the Christ Church Music Ministry will complement the weekly message while guests enjoy a catered lunch and fellowship with one another.

Child care for the speaker series is available by reservation. Tickets for each engagement are $15 per person and may be purchased through the Christ Church Welcome Center or online at the church's Web site.
